The visually impaired individual to get rehabilitation is required to:

• not have any other physical and psychological disability other than the visual impairment that may hinder the education process.
• be a graduate of primary school.

Documents needed for the application:

• Petition
• Residence document
• Copy of a valid identification
• Health Council Report (the "Council Report" to be issued by state hospitals)
• Four passport-sized photographs
• Social Examination Report (the report to be issued by the Provincial Social Services Directorate where the visually impaired individual is settled)

The visually impaired applicants are taken to an interview according to their rank of application and are accepted following this interview.

The applications can be made through the Provincial Social Services Directorate where the visually impaired individual is settled, or to Social Services and Child Protection Agency General Directorate / Ankara or directly to the Emirgan Six Dots Rehabilitation Center for the Blinds Directorate either personally or through mail.
